Family offices, private investment companies & enterprises
Many affluent families own a combination of concentrated public company positions, private investment companies, family foundations and family offices.
Increasingly, their family and business interests span multiple geographies, with associated tax, legal and regulatory complexities.
At the same time, investment trends, operational best practices and family needs are evolving rapidly.
Citi Private Capital Group was created to provide such families with services previously reserved for the world’s largest institutions.
We are a multi-disciplinary team with deep experience in capital markets, investment banking, portfolio investments, wealth structuring, and family offices design and management.
We combine Private Bank resources with those of Citi’s Institutional Clients to address key client needs:
Direct private investments: Institutionally-backed private opportunities
Trading & execution services: Direct bilateral access to Citi’s Markets & Securities Services for certain clients’ trading teams
Hedging & financing: Liquidity and hedging for illiquid or concentrated assets
Acquisition & disposal: Strategies for large, concentrated or illiquid public and private assets
Portfolio analytics: Institutional-level analytics, actionable strategies and best practices for family offices.
Citi Private Capital Group also offers advisory services based on our direct experience of setting up, structuring and running institutional-sized private investment companies and family offices.
